Propa-T

T-shirt designs, branding, promotional material and responsive e-commerce website for Propa-T, a t-shirt brand aimed at young rock and indie fans. Designed with Studio Plec.

 
 

T-shirt Designs

I was responsible for trend research and creating moodboards and concepts for Propa-T’s first t-shirt range for SS14. The t-shirt brand was an offshoot of Propaganda’s indie club nights, with a similar target market of 18-24 year old indie and rock fans. I was then given ownership of designing all print placements for the women’s range.

I also took part in arranging and art directing a studio photoshoot.

 

Branding and Website

In addition to designing the t-shirts, Studio Plec undertook Propa-T’s branding and designed and built their e-commerce website on Shopify.

We developed a wordmark for the brand based on the idea of a signature and ownership, as all of the t-shirts featured a black and white label saying β€˜This is my Propa-T’.

We kept the branding to a monochromatic colour palette, with colour coming through in the products and photography. This also helped to create a more edgy, β€˜punk’ aesthetic whilst keeping the brand feeling young and playful.
